English forward of Ghanaian descent Reise Malcolm Allasani will be playing in the Championship with Coventry City next season.
The English League 1 was officially ended on Wednesday after the FA hold meetings with all the clubs and it has been agreed that Coventry City and Rotherham United who are on top of the log will be promoted to the second-tier.
Allasani, 24, returned on loan from Dulwich Hamlet in January but had a knee injury at training and has been off since then with his expected return date being the end of this month.
The attacker’s contract ends the same time but Coventry are bent on keeping him for the next two years as he could be very useful as a team player next season.
Allasani was born in London to a Ghanaian father and a British mother. He previously played for Crystal Palace, Bromley and Woking.
He has been capped by England at Under 17 level but still eligible to play for Ghana.
