The owner of GN Bank Division One League side Eleven Wonders, Nana Ameyaw Manu has agreed in Principle to take over newly promoted Ghanaian top flight side Bolga All Stars, according to media reports.
Multiple reports in the Ghanaian media circles indicate that the take-over is likely to be completed in the next 24 hours. The reason behind the take-over remains unknown but sources close close to Nana Ameyaw Manu have disclosed that, the chief has long been looking to own a top flight team.
Earlier in the week, Bolga All Stars wrote to the Premier League Board to request for change in venue for their week six game with Asante Kotoko, from the Tamale Academy Park to Techiman.
That request can now be understood well as Nana Ameyaw has reportedly agreed to acquire the right of the premier league new entrant and is likely to permanently relocate them to Techiman.
Bolga All Stars made history when they became the first club from the Upper East Region of Ghana to play in the Ghana Premier League following their qualification at the end of the 2015/16 GN Bank Division One league season.
