The former Asante Kotoko defender James Kwesi Appiah has agreed to donate $5000 every month to retired Ghanaian football following his return to the senior National football team as the head coach.
Kwesi Appiah who will formally start work on 1st May 2017 will be on $35,000 monthly salary according to multiple reports.
The ex football thus agreed with the leadership of Ghana football to deduct $5000 out of his monthly salary every month to the well-being of the old players.
Kwesi recently worked in Sudan as the head coach of Sudanese club Al Khartoun where he was receiving $30,000 every month.
