Tema Youth tormentor Joseph Paintsil has attributed his outstanding performance in the Ghana Premier League to the blessing he gets from his family.

The youngster has hit incredible form this season with Coach Odoom’s side, scoring 10 Goals in 22 matches.

Speaking exclusively to SportsworldGhana.com, Paintsil said ‘’Prayer, hardworking, confidence and also the blessing of my family and have been the secret of my fine form this season and I hope to continue doing more with the Black Stars ‘B’ team.

Painstil is currently part of the Black Stars ‘B’ who have pitched camp in Prampram in preparations for the upcoming CHAN qualifiers and the 2017 WAFU championship.

He however insisted that the Harbor City Lads will survive relegation despite struggling to restore their impressive performance they had to the start of the season.

He says ”The league is currently on break so when it resumes we the playing body will lift up our performance to ensure we win the remaining matches to beat relegation and begin next season on a better note.”

He added ”I think my debut season in the Premier League has been good because as a player you don’t have to feel good in your performance but to improve your form anytime but unfortunately the team is almost heading to the relegation zone but won’t be possible, we are confident and can beat the drop to stay in the league”.

The former Red Bull Academy forward joined the Harbor City boys two seasons ago after signing a three- year deal them.
