Kumasi Asante Kotoko have relegated Samuel Kyere to their youth side after the defender’s exhibition of deviant behavior at the club.
Sources say, Samuel has been acting contrary to the club’s employee social media policy and has also violated other measures of the playing body.
But Sportsworldghana.com understands the management of the Kumasi based football club admonished the young defender for several times over his posture on social media but all fell on deaf ears.
Recent posts by the defender on social media platform, Facebook have been lauding praises on the immediate past head coach of the club, David Duncan who brought him to Kotoko.
This and many more we understand informed the club’s decision to demote the defender to the youth team.
Kotoko believes the decision will serve as a punishment to deter other players from engaging in such behavior or any other acts which frowns on the club’s image and policy.
