Richard Attah the hero as Hearts of Oak clinch the double

The goalkeeper was the hero of his team as Hearts of Oak defeated Ashantigold 8-7 on penalties following a goalless drawn game in 120 minutes of the MTN FA Cup final.

Attah saved a decisive penalty kick taken by Seth Osei who could have won the trophy for Ashantigold had he scored.

Attah then scored the 11th kick of his team before saving the effort of his opposite number Kofi Mensah to win the penalty contest by 8-7.

Every one of the 22 players on the pitch after Daniel Laryea whistled to close the game after extra time took part in the marathon penalty shootout.
