Ghana’s Black Stars head coach Milovan Rajevac has announced a strong starting XI for this afternoon’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification penultimate game against Ethiopia with Richmond Boakye Yiadom leading the attack.
The Black Stars face Ethiopia at Orlando Stadium at 1Pm today and the Serbian tactician has named a strong attacking starting lineup to battle the Warriors of Ethiopia for an important three points.
The Bafana Bafana of South Africa are on 10 points in Group G, one ahead of Ghana’s Black Stars who face Ethiopia. Ethiopia and Zimbabwe are already out of the race.
Milovan Rajevac has maintained Jojo Wallacot in the post following his impressive in Ghana’s back-to-back win over Zimbabwe last month.
Reading duo Baba Abdul Raham and Andrew Yiadom starts from the left-back and right-back positions respectively.
Meanwhile, Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo in the Black Stars starting lineup to partner Leicester City’s Daniel Amartey in central defense in the absence of injured Jonathan Mensah.
Ajax star Mohammed Kudus will form a solid midfield partnership with Baba Iddrisu with Kamaldeen Suleman and Andre Ayew operating from the flanks.
Spearheading the attack for the big game are Israel-based Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Crystal Palace striker Jordan Ayew.
