Inform Defender of Accra Hearts of Oak, Robert Addo Sowah has disclosed Kumasi Asante Kotoko were interested in his signature but he opted for the capital-based giants.
The Central defender who played three seasons at Uncle T united was spotted and approached by four Premier League teams whiles playing in the division one League.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Accra Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics and Elmina Sharks were clubs that revealed their intentions to sign the Dodowa Born player. Robert Addo Sowah said it was a childhood dream to play for Accra Hearts of Oak hence his decision to play for the Rainbow side.
In an interview on Hearts Tv, the player said “my manager called me and said lots of teams have approached him for my services which included Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Accra Hearts of Oak, Great Olympics and Elmina Sharks so which one will I like to join and I replied by saying I wanted to join Hearts of Oak because when I was kid whenever I hear their name a different spirit enters me so in the near I wanted to play for them even though I did not know how it was going to happen”
Robert Addo Sowah has been a revelation in the Hearts of Oak Set-up this season together with Mohammed Alhassan in the Central defense.
Accra Hearts of Oak play Liberty Professionals and WAFA in their last two games in their quest to win the League over more than a decade.
