Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to training ahead of Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Napoli.
The Portuguese star skipped the session with his teammates on Monday, sparking fears he could miss the showdown against the Serie A side.
However, he was present alongside the rest of the squad for training on Tuesday morning.
Ronaldo completed 90 minutes for Madrid in their 3-1 La Liga win over Osasuna in Saturday, scoring his 14th La Liga goal in the process.
Meanwhile, Gareth Bale was also being put through his paces as he battles back from an ankle injury.
He will miss Wednesday night’s game but could feature in the second leg provided he doesn’t suffer any setbacks.
Madrid resume their European campaign this week when they take on Napoli in the first leg of the Champions League’s last 16.
The defending champions host their Italian opponents on Wednesday night before the return leg in Naples on Tuesday, March 7.
