Ghanaian forward Ropapa Mensah commenced his Pittsburgh Riverhounds career with a 3-1 away win over Louisville City in the USL Championship.
The visitors had come back from a goal down to clinch all three points opening game.
Louisville grabbed the opener in the 18th minute via Williams before Jordan Dove levelled things up for Pittsburgh Riverhounds.
Back from break, Robbie Mertz put the visitors in front in the 48th minute, and Anthony Velarde added one more in the 51st minute.
Ropapa Mensah, former of Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies, assisted both of Pittsburgh’s second-half goals, and added three shots (one on target) to his credit in the game.
The win pushes the Hounds into first place in Group F.
