Sadio Mané produced a masterclass performance to inspire Senegal’s march into the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The experienced forward delivered two assists and played a key role throughout the match, leading by example as the Teranga Lions showed their class on the big stage. His vision, movement, and calm decision-making helped Senegal control the game and break down their opponents when it mattered most.

Mané’s influence was clear from start to finish, as he linked play smoothly and created chances that turned the match in Senegal’s favour. His leadership and quality once again underlined why he remains one of Africa’s most important players.

With another strong team display and Mané at the heart of it all, Senegal booked their place in the last eight and continue to look like serious contenders for the AFCON title.
