Prosper Harrison Addo, the General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association has described the South African Football Association as a novice, saying they know nothing about football as a sport.
According to him, the appeal sent to FIFA to nullify Ghana’s win over them in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers shows how incompetent they are as an association.
“The South African football Association knows nothing in football and this case clearly shows how incompetent they are”, he told Light FM in an interview.
He also stated that the South African Football Association only wanted to frustrate Ghana Football Association ahead of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon next month.

According to the Ghana FA, FIFA has thrown out South Africa’s request for a replay against Ghana after claiming that the four-time AFCON champions were awarded a fake penalty in their game in Ghana.
