Salifu Ibrahim is not a big game player – Boadu

Medeama SC Midfield-anchor, Richard Boadu has labeled Accra Hearts of Oak SC midfielder, Ibrahim Salifu as a player not fit for big games.

According to the Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC and Accra Hearts of Oak SC target, though Salifu is a good player, he thinks he is not a big game player yet.

He also said that the diminutive midfielder goes missing in big games but believes maybe with time, the youngster will start imposing himself in big matches.

“Ibrahim Salifu is a good player but when it matters most he gets lost in the game. Maybe he will get there in the future” Boadu told Pure FM.

Salifu, 20,joined the Rainbow Boys from Techiman XI Wonders and instantly became the fans favourite with some superlative display.

Due to his glaring form in the local league, the young man was called by the U-23 coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.

The midfielder was named Player-Of-The-Year by the Ghana Football Awards committee few months ago, beating Gladson Awako to the ultimate.
