Salifu Ibrahim played his first game for Hearts of Oak on Sunday, 7 March 2021, as his SamuelBoadu’s side annihilated WAFA by beating them 4-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium in the Ghana Premier League matchday 17 fixture.
‘Di Maria’ was introduced in the 62nd minute for Frederick Ansah Botchway when Hearts leading 1-0 courtesy Patrick Razak’s 33rd-minute goal.
Ibrahim provided a hockey assist in Raddy Ovouka’s incredible half volley goal for Hearts’ third goal against the Academy Boys.
The former Eleven Wonders star played a heavy role in the fourth goal scored by Michelle Sarpong in injury time.
He raided the right flank and nicely whipped in a cross which looked over hit but it found Umar Manaf who released Ovouka on the left.
Ibrahim started the season with Ghana Premier League side Eleven Wonders where he was their poster until Hearts of Oak side him.
He won picked four consecutive Man of the Match awards at Wonders and is expected to even do better for the Phobians in their quest to win the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
