Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC has confirmed that talks are ongoing with some teams over a possible transfer involving Samba Oniel.

Speaking on Akoma 87.9 FM, club official Sarfo Duku said discussions are currently taking place, although no final agreement has been reached yet. He explained that while negotiations are active, nothing has been concluded at this stage.

Sarfo Duku also revealed that it looks unlikely that Samba Oniel’s contract will be renewed. However, he stressed that management is carefully considering all options before making a final decision.

According to him, the club’s leadership is focused on taking a step that will best serve the interests of the club, while ensuring fairness in the process.

More details are expected in the coming days as talks continue with interested clubs.
