The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has finally lifted the ban placed on Ghanaian defender Samuel Inkoom back in June 2017. The player is now available and eligible to play football again in any part of the world.

The hard working defender was served with a one-year ban from FIFA for failing to pay an agent he was accused of cheating on in a transfer back in 2014.

In June 2017, the 29-year-old was ordered to pay the agent in question, Curtis Willer $65,000 or in default serve one-year ban. Inkoom failed to pay the said amount and was banned by the world football governing body. .

Now after serving his ban, Inkoom can finally get back on the grass and get his career on track.

The formal FC Basel player was part of Ghana’s u20 side that lifted the u20 world cup back in 2009. Samuel Inkoom was also part of the part of the Black Stars squad that featured at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa where the team managed to reach the quarterfinals

Reports indicates that clubs in France and Belgium are already interested in securing the services of the right-back.
