Ghana international defender Samuel Inkoom has signed a six-month deal with Georgian side FC Samtredia after leaving the Bulgarian top-flight.
Ikoom, 30, was available on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Bulgarian outfit FK Dunav.
The 2009 FIF UA-23 World Cup winner wants to get his career back which was affected by a FIFA ban in 2017 back track on track.
“New challenge. Happy to start the season of 2020 with FC Samtredia (Georgia). New family, new goals,” Inkoom wrote on Friday.
Inkoom has featured for clubs including FC Basel, Dnipro, Antalyaspor and Boavista.
FC Samtredia announced the double signing in midweek with Serbian Strahinja Krstevski also penning a contract.
Both players have started training with the team ahead of the start of the season.
