Ghana youth Samuel Owusu was on target for FK Čukarički as he registered the winning goal in their 2-1 win over FK Spartak Subotica in the Serbian Premier League on Saturday.
FK Čukarički have been in fine form since the start of the second round of the league after smashing FK Vozvodac 3-0 last week.
The visitors were handed the initiative in the 26th minute of the game by Ognjin Mudrinski.
The Former Vision FC midfielder doubled the lead for his side in the 43rd after he brilliantly turned in Marko Docic’s cross.
FK Spartak Subotica came out strongly in the second half and deservedly grabbed a consolation goal courtesy substitute forward Dejan Djenic in the 86th minute of the match.
