Ghanaian winger Samuel Owusu made a significant impact off the bench on Sunday, scoring and assisting to help OFK Beograd secure a commanding 3-0 victory over FK Jedinstvo Ub in the Serbian Super Liga.
The former Black Stars player started as a substitute but was introduced in the 61st minute of the Week 29 fixture. His presence was immediately felt as OFK Beograd broke the deadlock just a minute later, with Filip Stojikovic putting them ahead.
Four minutes after that opener, Owusu showcased his attacking prowess, finding the back of the net with a well-taken finish after receiving a precise pass from Gleofilo Vlijter.
In the final minute of regulation time, the Ghanaian turned provider, setting up Stefan Scepovic to seal the emphatic victory for OFK Beograd.
Owusu, 29, has now registered three goals and two assists in 17 appearances this season as he continues to play a key role for his side.
