Ghanaian Wing-wizard Samuel Owusu has been named in the Suadi Arabia Premier League Team-Of-The-Week after week 29 round of games.
The skillful winger, Owusu scored in Al Fayha’s home win over Al Adalh in the Saudi Arabian Premier League in the second half to help his side to a 2 – 0 win at home.
The former FK Cukaricki player played 85 minutes for his team as they beat the the away team 2 – 0 to stay on course to avoid automatic relegation.
Owusu on the day was undoubtedly the best player by far as his ability to hold onto the ball and dribble his way past defenders caused a lot of problems for the opposition throughout the mouth-watering end-to-end game which ended 2-0 to the host.
Ali Al Mazidi scored an own goal to put the host 1-0 up after 16 minutes of the match as the first half finished without another goal.
Owusu popped up in the second half of the match full of pace and run from the half way line through on goal to finish exquisitely in the in the 56th minutes to give the host a 2-0 lead after he was perfectly put through by Carlos Villanueva.
The 24-year-old has scored seven goals in 27 games with two assists so far.
