Ghana U-20 playmaker Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has been voted the best player of the just ended CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania following his consistent top performances at the competition.
The talented Fatawu – a player of Standfast Babies in Ghana – scored two brilliant goals at the tournament and was the main player that drove the team forward as he linked the midfield and attack superbly well.
His first biggest impact in the tournament came in the 4-0 win against Tanzania where he scored a long-range goal standing around the center circle and everyone started to take notice of his wonderful talent.
Spotted in jersey number 22 – Fatawu wowed fans who watched the competition with his playmaking qualities and some Ghanaians have been quick to compare the 16-year old left-footed footballer to Sulley Ali Muntari.
