Young Ghanaian center-back, Nathaniel Adjei is reportedly attracting interest from both Scottish clubs, Rangers and Celtic, for a potential January transfer.
The 21-year-old centre-back has made a strong impression in recent months, and both Scottish clubs are monitoring his performances.
Adjei was promoted to the first team at the beginning of the season by now-QPR boss Marti Cifuentes and has since become one of Hammarby’s top prospects.
He has been a key player, featuring in 19 league games and five Svenska Cup matches, helping his team reach the semi-finals.
Hammarby has only lost three games with Adjei in defense this season, and they’ve noticeably struggled when he’s been absent. In the 10 games he missed, they were defeated five times and managed just two wins.
With only two games remaining in the Swedish league season, Adjei is expected to assess his options for a potential January move once the season concludes.
According to Sky Sports, both Celtic and Rangers are competing for his signature, with the Light Blues reportedly leading the race after sending scouts to watch him in action this season. However, clubs in Belgium and Italy are also keeping tabs on him.
Hammarby currently sits in sixth place in the league table after 28 games, and their chances of qualifying for European competitions next season have diminished, potentially prompting Adjei to consider a January exit.
