The Black Stars on Wednesday, trained with a full house of all the twenty-two [22] players who were originally invited for the country’s AFCON qualifier match against Sierra Leone at the Baba Yara stadium.
The training which was supervised by head Coach Kwasi Appiah and his two deputies, Ibrahim Tanko and Maxwell Konadu was to prepare the team adequately for their Friday’s friendly with Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko following the cancellation of the Cup of Nations qualifier game with Sierra Leone by CAF on Tuesday.
Kotoko will host Kwasi Appiah ans his charges in a friendly exercise on Friday at the Baba Yara Stadium as the team prepares for next month’s AFCON qualifier away match with Ethiopia.
Inter Milan’s left-back Kwadwo Asamoah, Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Teye Partey, Lawrence Ati Zigi, John Boye and Richmond Boakye- Yiadom who arrived late all trained with their colleagues with the exception of captain Asamoah Gyan who had been put on medication after feeling dizzy after lunch.
