English-born Ghanaian teenager Kwame Poku assisted Noah Chilvers goal as Colchester United drew 1-1 with newly-promoted side Barrow AFC in the English League 2 at the Furness Building Society Stadium.
Poku, 19, who was the club’s best young player for the year laid a pass to Chilvers for him to fire a sumptuous long-range shot into the net in the 34th minute.
The Ghanaian youngster seized the midfield and run a one-man by spraying passes to every part of the field as the opposing midfielders could not contain him.
Against the run of play, Barrow snatched the equalizer in the 54th minute Michael Jones smashed a stunner to the corner of the net with the outside of his boot to make it 1-1.
Poku has already been tipped for future greatness and he is considered as one of the top prospects in English football.
