Ghanaian striker Sadick Sulley was the hero of the day on Saturday as Bugesera FC defeated Police FC by two goals to nothing in a preseason friendly at Stade Bugesera in Nyamata, Rwanda.
The mercurial attacker who was signed from Espoir FC this window scored one and assisted another as Bugesera FC maintained their unbeaten run in the off season games.
The two sides started the game brightly but it was Bugesera FC who looked more purposeful upfront with the Ghanaian duo of Sadick Sulley and Abdul Muniru tormenting the visitors back four.
Sadick who has netted thrice already in two friendly games produced the moment of magic in the 15th minute as he received a pass from the right flank and beat two defenders before hitting a spectacular volley from the edge of the box to the roof of the net which drew applauds from Police FC coach Frank Nuttall.
Both teams begun to make incursions into the others vital area but it was Police FC who had the better of the exchanges though their attackers failed to find the net.
With 28 minutes left on the clock, Sadick who had shifted to the wings was played through beautifully by Abdul Muniru and he made no mistake by finding Nigerian important Chukuma Odili who beautifully placed the ball beyond the reach of the Police FC goalkeeper from fifteen yards for the second goal.
