Former AshantiGold SC playmaker Seth Osei has finally signed for South African DSTV Premiership side TS Galaxy FC in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been in high demand since the start of the transfer window, with Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko among the clubs interested in his services. However, Osei has opted to join the Rockets, snubbing offers from local giants.
Osei last played for Israeli side Hapoel Kfar Saba, where he made six appearances after joining them early this year.
Prior to that, he played for Egyptian club Baladeyit Elmahalla SC, where he scored six goals and provided five assists in 22 games, helping the club gain promotion to the Egyptian Premier League.
A product of WAFA, Osei is expected to bring experience and quality to TS Galaxy FC, who have signed him as their ninth recruit this summer. He is likely to make his debut for the club this weekend when they host German Bundesliga side FC Augsburg in a preseason tournament dubbed the Mpumalanga Premier’s International Cup.
Despite being included in the team’s matchday squad for their 2-2 draw against Eswatini side Mbabane Swallows, Osei is expected to start against Augsburg.
