Black Stars winger Solomon Asante was on target for Phoenix Rising Stars in their 3-3 away draw at Las Vegas Lights FC.
The Ghana International scored the third goal of the match for his side in the 90th minutes from the spot to give the visitors a 3-1 lead.
Asante earlier in the game provided an assist for Junior Flemmings to score in the 68th minutes to put them 2-0 after Rufat Dadashov’s 6th minutes lead.
Yamikani Chester grabbed a consolation goal for the host 10 minutes from full time to reduce the deficit to one to set up a grand style ending to the frenetic match.
Asante then appeared to have secured all three points for his team when he scored his sixth goal of the season for the Black and Reds in the 90th minutes.
Just when it looked like it was all over for the home team, AJ Cochran scored an own goal two minutes later before Ramon Del Campo scored the equalizer late in the match to draw Las Vegas Lights FC level.
The pulsating encounter which could’ve been easily won by the visitors however ended in a high scoring 3-3 draw.
