Solomon Asante signs new Phoenix Rising Star contract

Ghanaian international Solomon Wiafe Asante has appended his signature to a new deal with American second-tier side Phoenix Rising Stars.

The initial contract of the 30-year-old was expected to end on the last day on this month but he signed a fresh deal over the weekend which will see him play for Phoenix until November 30, 2021.

The experienced winger won the Phoenix FC player of the year for the second time running as he netted eight goals and provided 9 assists in seventeen games this season.

Asante who is the skipper of Phoenix Rising star since joining them from Congolese giants TP Mazembe in January 2018.
