Assistant coach of the Black Stars is of the view that the team’s friendly game against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa was a fruitful exercise.
The Black Stars of Ghana drew 1-1 with their South African counterparts at the Durban stadium on Tuesday.
Critics have descended heavily on the management committee of the team for playing that friendly but the former Asante Kotoko gaffer holds the view that the game afforded the technical team the opportunity to evaluate the squad ahead of the crucial qualifier again Egypt next month.
“It was a game of two halves. We dominated the first half and they took control in the second department of the game. I will say its a good exercise for us and hopefully we will improve on our weakness and put up a better performance against Egypt”. Konadu told pressmen after the game.
