English Premier League side Southampton FC are set to announce the transfer of Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu.
The Ghana International has already agreed to a four-year deal in principle with the English side pending the announcement by both parties according to our findings.
The Real Valladolid kingpin has been on the radars of English giant Manchester United and West Ham United after his breakthrough season in the Spanish La Liga in the just ended season.
Salisu, 21, decided to snob Manchester United and French side Rennes due to the prospect of gaining more playing time at St. Mary’s Park which he believes would be great for his development as a player.
The deal is expected to be official by next week with the Ghanaian youngster set to be the first signing of the season for The Saints.
