Spanish attacker of Ghanaian heritage Inaki Williams marked his 150th La Liga appearance after featuring in Athletic Bilbao’s 3-2 win over Levante on Wednesday.
The attacker reached a milestone at Bilbao where he has spent most of his football career.
The 24-year old attacker joined the La Liga club in 2014 from Tercera División side Basconia having spent time with Bilbao’s youth team.
The nimble-footed striker has since become a star boy for the Los Leones, netting 51 goals for the Club.
Having already capped 150 times for the club, he could make history by becoming one of the Club’s iconic players to have made the most appearances should he stay at the club.
Williams could join the likes of Aitor Karanka, Fernando Llorente and Aymeric Laporte who have that reach record.
The goal poacher is eligible to play for the Black Stars having represent Spain at the youth level.
Inaki Williams is yet to make a competitive cap for the Spanish senior National team despite playing in a friendly game against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
