Deputy sports minister Pious Enam Hadzide says they will maintain the 5000 dollar winning bonus for the Black Stars despite failing to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Ghana will play for pride when they take on Egypt at the Cape Coast sports stadium this weekend to wrap up the 2018 World cup qualifiers.
There are concerns over the amount the players will receive if they win against the Egyptians since the outcome will not be beneficial to the team.
But speaking exclusively to Starr FM Sports Pious Enam Hadzide insists they will stick to the 5,000 dollar winning bonus for the team.
“We are proceeding according to the programme as was announced ”
“This is still a FIFA, CAF sanctioned game and a world cup qualifier and the same conditions that have applied before still apply”he told Starr Sports.
