Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has expressed satisfaction in St. Gallen’s 3-2 home win over FC Zurich in the Swiss Super League on Sunday.
The midfielder contributed largely in the game as he scored and also provided two more assists for his side in the crunchy fixture.
Ashimeru posted on Twitter,” It was an amazing win yesterday,”
”Good to be on the score sheet,”
The 21-year old star, scored in the 51st minute after Vincent Sierro had put his side in front the first half.
The visitors pulled one back in the 68th minute but a brilliant assist by Ashimeru was good enough for veteran Tranquillo Barnetta to score the match winner for St- Gallen.
The Ghanaian international who was voted man of the match in the game has so far netted two goals in all competitions since joining St. Gallen on loan from Red Bull Salzburg in the summer.
