German-born Ghanaian defender Steffen Nkansah won’t be signed by Dutch Eredivise side Heracles Almelo after failing to impress in trials.
Nkansah, 24, left Eintracht Braunschweig this summer after five years together and he is currently a free agent.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that Heracles German manager Frank Wormuth handed a seven days trial to the versatile defender but he could not live up to expectation to get a contract.
Nkansah will head back to Germany this weekend as he seeks another avenue to ply his trade for next season.
Born to a Ghanaian father and a German mother in Munster, Nkansah has featured for Germany up to the Under 19 level.
