Experienced Ghana forward, Andre Ayew has sung praises of his club manager Steve Cooper.
The Swans deputy skipper had words of admiration for the 40-year-old gaffer who in his first Championship season has guided the Jack Army’s into a top half finish in the English second tier.
“I’m impressed by the gaffer and his staff,” he said. “They have done a great job and it’s not easy when it’s your first year and you have a lot of young players around.
Swansea City’s top-scorer for the 2019-20 season was full of praises of his gaffer due to his style of play.
“He has quality and you can see we have an identity and style of play.
After having a difficult start to the season, the 30-year-old believes the young players have been well developed by the gaffer despite the fact that things didn’t go straight forward for the St. Mary’s side.
“It’s true we’ve had ups and downs, but when you have a team with a lot of young players, you can’t get everything straightaway.
“His message is coming across well and I’m happy to have met and worked with him. He’s got great ideas and he’s going to be a big manager in the future”, Ayew concluded.
