Some even went further to suggest Pollack is adamant he discharged his duties creditably as Kotoko gaffer and blames management for the club been in a continuous state of angst and inertia.
Lawyer Boafo in an exclusive interview with Empire FM said he’s puzzled why Steve Pollack would want to take legal action against Kotoko.
“the court is always the place where both parties are heard and as far as we are concerned we have paid him(Steve Pollack) everything that he’s due…I don’t know what he’s going to court for”.He said
In reacting to the swipes that management should be fingered for the club’s malaise, Lawyer Yaw Boafo referred to Pollack’s records as Kotoko head coach.
“Somebody sent me a link today of Steve Pollack blaming us (management) for the reason we didn’t qualify.we played for 180 minutes against CARA, we could not score a goal from open play and we missed 3 penalties.I can’t see how Pollack will come and tell us (management) that it’s our fault” he said.
Lawyer Boafo continued “I never knew I was a striker or a midfielder and Dr Kwame Kyei (Kotoko Executive Chairman) was a goalkeeper…Steve Pollack is the only Coach in Kotoko’s history who never won 3 matches in a row so it’s very good for him to go quietly…and spare this childish stuff blaming everybody, it’s like a kid who’s entered a candy store”.
Kotoko parted company with Steve Pollack 6 days ago shortly after arriving from a failed CAF Confederation Cup adventure against CARA Brazzaville.
His overall record while in charge of the Porcupine Warriors reveals 11 wins, 6 draws and 7 defeats in 24 matches.
