Berekum Chelsea coach Steve Pollack has confirmed he has finished paper work with Asante Kotoko and will by latest Thursday May 11 be in Kumasi to start work.
The English trainer tells Kumasi based Abusua FM that he’s 99% done with Kotoko and is most likely to be on the club’s team sheet when they host Tema Youth in their Premier League first round last fixture.
According to the former King Faisal trainer, agreement have also be reached between his current club Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko as he looks forward to restoring the glory days old days of the Porcupine Warriors.
”The deal is almost done, I mean 99.9%.” he said.
He however refuted reports in the local media that his move to Kotoko is a loan deal.
”It is never true that I have been loaned to Kotoko, it is an outright deal.”
I have respect for every club but there are some clubs which are bigger than the others. I will either be on the bench or in the stance on Sunday.
”I don’t see any pressure in Kotoko. I am a professional coach and I understand this job.
‘’For the backroom staff I believe in giving people the chance to showcase their credentials’’.
He added ‘’I will work with people who want to work with me.’’
Kotoko are currently eight on the Ghana Premier League table with 20 points after match-day fourteen.
