Strasbourg defender Alexander Djiku has expressed excitement after playing his first two games for Ghana’s senior national team- Black Stars.
The Black Stars walloped Asian champions Qatar 5-1 in a friendly played in Antalya- Turkey on Monday night.
A brace from captain Andre Ayew and one each from Tariqe Fosu, Samuel Owusu and Caleb Ekuban, ensured the Black Stars recorded a resounding 5-1 victory of the 2022World Cup host country to redeem their image after losing 3-0 to Mali last Friday.
Almoez Ali, on the other hand, netted the only consolation goal for Qatar.
Djiku who lasted the entire duration of the game, took to Twitter to express his joy.
