French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg are set to sign Ghanaian forward Abdul Majeed Waris on a permanent contract from FC Porto this summer.
Waris signed for Strasbourg on loan last July and played seven games scoring twice and winning two man of the match awards.
SPORTSworldGhana.com understands that Strassbourg manager Thierry Laurey has asked the board to sign Waris this summer as he believes he can be useful to his course next season in the Ligue 1.
Waris has already been told by FC Porto that he is not in their plans and they are ready to lease him if any good offer comes.
His contract with Porto expires on June 30, 2022 and his release fee is set at 2.5 Million Euros.
