Ghanaian-born English, Hiram Kojo Kwarteng Boateng came from the bench to score in Milton Keynes Dons dramatic draw at Bolton Wanderers on the opening day of the 2021-22 season in England.
The former Crystal Palace man opened his goal account for the White and Golds as they drew 3-3 away from home.
Boateng came on going into the last 10 minutes of the match and thought he had won the game for his team when he found the back of the net just two after coming on with a beautiful strike to give the away team a 3-2 lead with seven minutes to go.
Unfortunately for the Ghanaian, the host strike back once more late in the match to snatch a point in a game no team deserved to lose as it finished 3-3.
Boateng has started the season on the right note in the English League One competition with one goal to his name.
