Ghanaian-born American striker, Gyasi Zardes was on target twice for Columbus Crew SC in the Major League Soccer in America on Sunday night.
The bulky attacker came from the bench to score his team’s second goal two minutes after his introduction to put them 2-0 inside 64 minutes with Pedro Santos providing him with an assist.
The 29-year-old forward made three to the good for the host when he struck again in the 71st minutes of the match which brought the scoreline to 3-0 in the favour of the home team.
Gyasi has now played seven games in the Major League Soccer in America this season for the Yellow and Blacks and has a total of six goals contribution after scoring five with one assist.
Columbus Crew SC maintained their five points lead over Philadelphia Union on the league log after thrashing FC Cincinnati 3-0.
