Swansea City ace Andre Ayew says it’s ”Always good to score” after powering his side to a 2-1 win against Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday in the English Championship at the Liberty Stadium.
The Black Stars captain netted his 14th league goal of the season for the Swans to boast their play off ambitions.
Rhian Brewster opened the scoring for the home side in the 52nd minute after a barren first half.
Andre Ayew boldly elected himself to calmly convert a 66th minute penalty to give Swansea City a 2-0 lead before Kosovo international Atdhe Nuhiu pulled one back for the visitors on stoppage time.
The Ghanaian international has so far scored 16 goals in all competitions for Steve Cooper’s side this season.
Ayew tweeted after the game ”Always good to score but most importantly 3 points.. still in we keep going! love to see my bro Mike back !#jackarmy,”
