Swiss-Ghanaian forward Kwadwo Duah showcased his scoring prowess once again, notching his tenth goal of the season to propel Ludogorets to a commanding 2-0 triumph over Arda in the Bulgarian topflight league.
Duah, a Switzerland youth international, opened the scoring for Ludogorets in the 30th minute, capitalizing on Rick Lima’s well-placed pass. His clinical finish provided Ludogorets with a crucial advantage.
Just twelve minutes later, Duah’s compatriot Bernard Tekpetey played a pivotal role in Ludogorets’ second goal, providing the assist for Jakub Piotrowski to extend their lead.
With this victory, Ludogorets solidified their position at the top of the league table, extending their lead to 11 points. Another win in their upcoming fixture, coupled with potential slip-ups from Cherno Varda, could see Ludogorets clinch the title.
Duah’s stellar performance throughout his debut season with Ludogorets has been remarkable, tallying 10 goals in 19 league appearances. The 27-year-old forward made the switch to Ludogorets from German side Nurnberg, where he spent a single season.
Despite representing Switzerland at various youth levels, Duah remains eligible to represent the Black Stars of Ghana, presenting an exciting prospect for the national team’s future endeavors.
