Ghanaian right-back Tariq Lamptey will be staying at Brighton and Hove Albion for another year after signing a one-year contract extension with the English Premier League club.
This new deal means Lamptey will continue playing for Brighton until the end of the 2025/2026 season. The 23-year-old, known for his speed and energy on the pitch, has been with the club since 2020 after joining from Chelsea.
Lamptey has become a fan favourite at Brighton, and many supporters will be happy to see him continue with the team. Although injuries have affected parts of his career, he remains one of the most exciting young players in Ghana’s national team and the Premier League.
The extension gives Lamptey more time to improve and possibly take on a bigger role at Brighton. It also gives him the chance to stay fit and fight for a place in Ghana’s squad for future international matches.
