Ghanaian youngster, Tariq Lamptey, has praised his side’s character in their stalemate against Liverpool on Saturday.
Brighton & Hove Albion fought back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw against the Reds away from home to continue their impressive start to the season.
Liverpool went two goals ahead in the opening24 minutes of the game with Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane scoring for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
However goals from Enock Mwepu and Leandro Trossard saw Graham Potter’s men draw level in the 65th minute.
Lamptey was then introduced into the game as Brighton tried to keep the Reds at bay.
The versatile defender completed two dribbles during his 25 minutes on the pitch while also managing two duels.
The player after the game posted on Instagram as he highlighted the performance of his teammates while thanking the fans.
Brighton’s next league game is against Newcastle United, who suffered a 0-3 loss to Chelsea on Saturday.
