Brighton & Hove Albion defender Tariq Lamptey will play no football again this season after undergoing surgery.
The 20-year-old right-back has been out with the hamstring injury since the middle of December last year and underwent an operation in London on Saturday to fix a tear to the tendon.
Sportswoldghana.com understands that Lamptey could start his recovery training in May but will not be able to play any game for his side until next season.
Lamptey has played eleven English Premier League games for the Seagulls this season scoring one goal and providing one assist.
He recently extended hos contract up to June 30, 2025 and remains a 30m Pounds summer transfer target for Everton and Arsenal.
