Outspoken football administrator and politician Kofi Manu affectionately known as “Blueboy” has blasted the Ghana Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee for what he refers to as “targeted ruling” against Kotoko CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah who was President of the Division One side Phar Rangers until his Kotoko job.
According to Mr.Manu the decision of the GFA DC to impose on Phar Rangers, its shareholders and directors, a five-year football ban is a clear demonstration of the vindictiveness of the Kurt-Okraku led GFA.
“Nana Yaw is their target. This has been made clear by this bogus decision.” Blueboy said to Fox FM.
“The definition of official by the GFA statutes does not include shareholders and so why do you ban a shareholder and then leave out the management of the club” Kofi Manu who is known to be conversant with GFA laws quizzed.
Meanwhile the Division One side,we understood, are preparing to strongly appeal against the GFA DC ruling.
