The President of the Ghana Football Association(GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi has disclosed that football administrators in the country do not make money from football.
Nyantakyi who is also the owner of current league champions Wa All Stars revealed that passion is driving force behind the continued investment made into Ghana football.
“We don’t make money from football in this country. Outsiders think its a lucrative business but that’s not true. People think we make money from the sale of players but that’s no enough. We are still in this business because of the passion we have for the game” Nyatakyi asserted in an interview with Kumasi based Angel FM
He however called on benevolent Ghanaians and corporate institutions to come to the aid of his club Wa All Stars who he confirmed will participate in next year’s CAF Champions League.
