Liberty Professionals head Coach David Ocloo believes Ebusua Dwarfs beat his team simply because they were hungrier and determined to pick victory in the crucial Ghana Premier League tie.
Dwarfs posted a sweet 2-1 away win over the Scientific Soccer Lads on Saturday in matchday nine of the Ghana Premier League at the Carl Reindorf Stadium.
Speaking after the game, the gaffer said: ” I think they were hungrier than us. They were more determined than my team and it worked for them.”
The Scientific Soccer Lads scored first through a spot-kick from Abraham Wayo after 16 minutes to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game.
Ohene Asamoah Michael grabbed the equalizer for the visitors seven minutes to the end of the first 45 minutes with a free header following a corner kick.
Seven minutes from full time, Sumaila Imoro scored the winner to secure all three points for the Crabs who picked their second away win this season.
