The Spanish youngster of Ghanaian descent is full of excitement after being handed massive contract extension at Athletic Club, a side he joined since he was 11 years.
Nico after signing the fresh contract said: “I’m very happy to be here in Bilbao and to stay with this great family.” “I’ve been here since I was 11. This is a dream come true. Now I have to keep working hard.”
The 21 years old striker has shown extreme potency on the field since his promotion to the senior side of Athletic Bilbao three years ago.
Nico Williams who also doubles as the biological brother of Black Star forward Inaki Williams has extended his contract till 2027. Nico Williams is yet to score this season for the Athletic Bilbao. However, the budding talent was on the score sheet when Spain engaged Georgia in the European qualification Championship.
The Inaki brothers have repeated history just like the Boateng brothers in 2010, where Jerome played for Germany and Kevin for the Black Stars.
